Long time gone

It's been a while, forgive me.  Life has been non-stop, but we've still had time to be grateful.   Nothing too new.  We still have a girl that loves dolls and playing.  She is a self-entertainer who can take anything and make-believe with it - she creates some pretty amazing stories.  I love that about her.  We still have a energetic boy who likes to destroy (in fact, he is emptying an entire box of large legos onto the floor as I write this).  He is close to "graduating" his speech therapy sessions (less than one year of therapy) and for that we are grateful.  He is also graduating from the terrible two's to the TERRIBLE three's; not so grateful for those moments :) 

Last week we had spring break.  We took advantage of KC and went to Legoland and Fritz's.  It was nice to relax and spend time together.  We even had a taste of spring last Friday with the temps getting up into the 80's :)  Didn't last long though - 38 degrees on my way home today with big snow flakes:(

 Back at home - we received a package labeled "URGENT!"  Those silly elf friends of Ella the Elf showed up and delivered some special pajamas for the kids to wear Christmas Eve.  These special pajamas made sure the kids slept well throughout the night so Santa could work his magic!

We enjoyed a game of Quelf with the McDaniels' family.  If you haven't played - you are missing out!  It is full of entertainment and laughter :)  Good times had by all!
