True Life

I was searching for a new picture to put on the blog (as Christmas has come and gone so the sign in the previous picture had to go before St. Patrick's Day)!! Do you like what I came up with? :) If this isn't a picture of true life at the McDaniels' home I don't know what is. I'm hoping it's not just our home that is this crazy......


Happy Fat Tuesday everyone! Kale and I are celebrating at home today as he has been under the weather for a few days now. He's asleep and I'm catching up on a few things. It's been a good day!

New Adventure

I have been brainstorming ways to make some extra money, while continuing to be a teacher, mom, wife, cook, etc. A friend of mine from college, with whom I keep up with thanks to Facebook, has been posting her business sales via Facebook for the past year and I've been keeping an eye. The products are beautiful and match my style. I couldn't help but investigate the potential - and well, I recently decided to become a consultant myself!!! Call me crazy! MIZ :)

We (when I say we, I mean Russ) were elated to witness the MU win over KU!!! After the win, on Super Bowl Sunday we were invited to our good friends, and HUGE KU FANS, house to watch the game. We of course had to rub it in (with class) by sporting our Tiger gear! We had a great weekend!
