If you ever get a chance....

Megan, my sister, and I went to see Sugarland in concert last night at the Sprint Center.....I highly recommend going to see them - their show was INCREDIBLE! In fact, it was so good we didn't even mind sitting by three outrageously drunk girls or the fact that we were seated in the nose bleed section! Neither one of us brought our cameras in for fear of them not letting us, so I don't have any fun pictures to share....all the more reason to go see them yourself!

Diva Days

Playing catch with Aunt Megan.
Stylin' in her shades playing the piano!
And of course we need the sunglasses to ride the little horse too!

Look at this!

Payton has all sorts of new phrases, one being, "Look at this!" Some others include, "I get you!", "I wuv you!", "Tickle me!", and of course "Boots the monkey, Dora, Isa the i-ga-na"; the list goes on and on.
We (when I say we, I mean me) have been debating over whether to take Payton to get a haircut or not (the debate is whether she will sit still long enough or not). We have trimmed her bangs several times, but have not been brave enough to try a true haircut. So, I thought I'd share some pictures of her long hair....and just think, one year ago this month she still had a mohawk!!!
On another note, we are officially on the countdown for school to be over! May 28th is the teacher's last work day of the year. Students have a 1/2 day on the 27th....I CANNOT wait!

Hootie

http://www.cmt.com/videos/darius-rucker/336930/it-wont-be-like-this-for-long.jhtml

This is a link to a new song by Darius Rucker, formerly known as Hootie from Hootie and the Blowfish. When I heard the lyrics it hit home....Payton is almost 2 years old...where did the time go?

Enjoy (and remember to pause the blog music at the bottom of this page).
