Tiger Fan in the house

This is what happens when daddy gets a hold of the camera! Can you guess what we're going to decorate the new nursery in?? :) Doesn't sit too well with the Jayhawk fans in the family!

Cloudy with a chance of.....SNOWFALL!

School has been cancelled for the past two days, and is now cancelled for the next two days! I am getting a true sample of what being a SAHM would actually be like (minus the fact that I can't really drive anywhere in these conditions) and I love it! We have enjoyed spending quality family time, and then some :) Now, I'm just hoping that my excitement over the snow days doesn't result in resentment come May when I could potentially have to return to school after my maternity leave..............until then I will rejoice in this time!

Stay safe and warm out there!

A Year in Rewind

Christmas Day 2008
December 2009

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

This was Payton's first time to play outside in the snow....she was extremely excited! However, we only lasted as long as her little Dora gloves would allow - I now know that we need to invest in some waterproof gloves for true snow enjoyment! Regardless, she had a ball (and even threw a few at daddy)!

Although the snow tried to keep us (well, Adam and Tracy had a much more difficult time) away from having family Christmas celebrations this year, we managed to fight our way over to Grandpa and Grandma McDaniels' house - a mere 20 miles away -on Christmas Day. Payton had been battling the flu bug for the past day or two, so don't pay attention to her drained/exhausted appearance in the above photos....she partied all night and slept in until 11:45 the next morning! She truly is her father's daughter!
The Boddicker family Christmas had to be postponed as it was planned for Christmas Eve - we will celebrate with them tomorrow and share more pictures then!
