My FOUR front teeth!

Payton now has her four top front teeth coming in - ALL AT ONCE! She is a strong little girl - the worst part for us has been listening to her grind them. I guess since they are new and it creates a new feeling and sound she enjoys it - we will have to discourage her from making it a habit (right, Dr. Rammer?)!!!

This is our last week "off" before we head back for teacher work days. Russ and I officially have to report back on the 7th of August - too early! Russ really went back today, as football camp began and will run all week. It seems that they can't beat the heat either, it is supposed to be in the upper 90's all week here, not to mention the humidity!

Monday, August 4th we will take Payton for her 1 year pictures...can't really believe that she is almost one.

Banana Head

Up until today, I had thought that Payton would always be the neat and clean eater that she has been - but she proved me wrong! Today, while enjoying a banana as a snack, she decided that the mushed up banana might also work as a hair gel - as documented above, she was right! Russ already stated that later on in life she will not appreciate that I posted these pictures, but for now, we will rejoice in their humor! :)

Since the last post, Payton has mastered walking! We still get a little glimpse of her style of crawling (rear-end in the air), but majority of the time she is on two feet! Once I can figure out how to upload some video to this site (work in progress here folks) I will share some footage of her walking and of course talking! Today she showed us her dance moves - again, another video to share - she is quite comical. At 11 months she loves to interact with EVERYONE, is giving the sweetest (wet) kisses, likes to play hide and go seek (even if no one is really seeking), and is making it harder and harder for mommy to realize that she must return to work in a few short weeks. However, we will continue to enjoy our time "off"....

Here are a few updated photos of Payton. She was given a new toy chest from Aunt Stacy and Uncle Ron - she loves it! We also enjoyed some pool time on the 4th of July! Enjoy!
