Our little helper

Helping daddy pay the bills:)

Helping mommy sweep the floor!

Movin' on up

Payton upgraded to a booster seat this past week. She calls it her "big girl chair"! She is learning so many new things. She is saying "thank you, mommy" after being given her milk; she loves Dora, so of course she is learning some Spanish by saying, "Hola! I'm Dora!" all the time; she now states "I'm Payton" while pointing at herself. She loves standing on her new pink step stool to wash her hands at the sink, playing with playdough (she did try to eat it once) and reading book after book. Each day we are amazed at how quickly things change - and feel blessed to be a part of it all!

Fort Fun

Spring Break '09

Yogurt popsicles - yummy
Guilty look?

She's taking over daddy's recliner!

Windy day - playing with sidewalk chalk

Bubble mower....mowing the driveway!

This week has been full of fun; if only every week could be spring break! The weather was beautiful Monday and Tuesday, so we were able to play outside. Payton will stand at the door saying, "outside, outside" until we take her out! She loves it! Luckily, the neighbor kids were out playing too. It's already Thursday, and I'm sad that it's almost over.....that just means we're that much closer to summer, right?

March Madness

This week was a busy one! Our babysitter's husband had to spend a few days in the hospital (thankfully, he is ok) so that meant Payton got to spend some quality time with both sets of grandparents! Grandma McDaniels watched her Tuesday and Wednesday - she said Payton helped to unload some boxes from moving! Then Thursday Payton went up to Grandma Boddicker's for the day. As you can tell in the top picture, she was quite worn out from all the fun!
Yesterday, Russ bought Payton a bowling set. She hasn't quite grasped the concept (she's more into throwing the ball than rolling it), but it is fun nonetheless. We are on spring break this week, so there will be plenty of time to practice!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
