2 weeks and.....

I have yet to get a picture of Payton and Kale together! She has adjusted very well; so loving and happy to give him kisses and hugs. She is worried when he cries and whispers "it'll be ok" in his little ear....such a neat thing to see. We are all adjusting well to this new life we have been blessed with! I have discovered over these short two weeks that I must guard myself when changing his diaper, that he highly dislikes getting his diaper changed and that he does NOT like bath time! However, he does like the swing and his bouncy seat and is easily calmed. We look forward to daddy's baseball season being over soon and getting to spend some quality family time together!

1 week old...already!

Introducing...

Kale Russell McDaniels, born April 14th at 8:32 a.m. weighing 9 lbs. 4 oz and is 20.5 inches long! Baby and mommy are doing well! Payton met him yesterday for the first time...she wasn't too sure of him :) More pics to come!

Signs of Summer

Freshly mowed lawn, bubbles floating in the air, hopscotch....and of course a Scooby-Doo ice cream treat from the ice cream truck!!!

ONE MORE WEEK!

One week from today we will be able to meet sweet baby Kale Russell! We're SO excited!!

*she recently saw my belly button (sticking out now) and said, "There's a spider coming out mommy!"
*taking orders with her new McDonald's toy register

*helping put laundry in the washer and "folding" out of the dryer

*talking/playing FOR OVER AN HOUR at bedtime (after we've put her down)

*dancing in the body that God gave her all around her room after bath/shower saying, "Look at my booty-booty mommy!" NOW WHO TAUGHT HER THAT ONE?
