12 weeks :)
We discovered (aka went to the doctor) this week that Kale has SILENT acid reflux. This means he doesn't spit up or vomit (sorry) but he still suffers the internal affects (uncomfortable stomach). We started some medicine yesterday which he takes twice per day; doctor said we should notice a difference in his comfort level (should be less fussy and sleep better) by tomorrow! I certainly hope it helps his little tummy.....and his sleep (selfishly)!!
Clearance, Clarance
The basement is coming right along! The cabinets were delivered Monday only to discover that one of them would not fit through the door! Russ and our hired worker, Tracy, cut off some from the back of the cabinet to make sure it would clear the doorway!! Russ and my dad also worked long hours last week to get the entire basement painted (three different shades of brown, if you can't tell from the pictures)! It's looking great down there - can't wait for the finished product!

Whoa Whoa Song
I purchased the Bon Jovi greatest hits CD (one of them) for Russ' birthday this past month. Now every time Payton rides in his car she requests the "Whoa Whoa song".........you know what she's talking about!!! Come on, everybody now..........."Whoa we're halfway there-r, whoa livin' on a pray-er, take my hand and we'll make it I swear-r, whoa livin' on a prayer!!!!" Gotta love Bon Jovi!
Rainy 4th
Surprisingly, Kale LOVED the fireworks on the 4th - must of been the colors not the noise! However, the nights following the 4th were not so grand. Because it rained on the 4th many people were still shooting off fireworks on the 5th and 6th making it quite a challenge for little ones to sleep! Nonetheless, what a great thing to celebrate - Happy Birthday America!
